Privacy Policy for DocsCreate
At DocsCreate, we prioritize your privacy and strive to ensure that your personal information is protected. This policy outlines how our application interacts with your Google Drive files and ensures the security of your data.
1. Information We Access
Our application requires access to your Google Drive files to enable the functionality that allows you to manage your documents directly through the app. Specifically:
- Google Drive Access: DocsCreate accesses all files in your Google Drive solely to allow you to view, edit, organize, and manage them through the application. This access is only used to facilitate document management as requested by the user.
2. Data Collection and Transfer
- Direct Connection to Google Drive: All interactions with your Google Drive take place directly between your device and Google's servers. DocsCreate acts as a bridge to allow you to manage your files, but no data is transmitted to, collected, or stored on any third-party servers, including ours.
- No Third-Party Data Collection: We do not share, store, or transfer any of your Google Drive data to any external servers or services. Your files remain secure within the Google Drive infrastructure, and DocsCreate simply enables you to manage them.
3. Data Protection Mechanisms
While DocsCreate does not collect or store any user data, we still ensure that all communications between your device and Google Drive are secure:
- Encryption: All data transfers between your device and Google’s servers are protected using secure encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) to safeguard your information during the process of managing your files.
4. Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
- No Data Retention: DocsCreate does not store or retain any Google user data. All files and data remain within Google Drive, and DocsCreate only enables access to those files temporarily during your session.
- No Data Deletion: Since we do not store any user data, there is no data to delete from our servers. File management and deletion actions can be performed directly by the user within Google Drive via DocsCreate.
5. User Consent and Control
We will request your explicit consent to access your Google Drive files when using DocsCreate. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings.
